Here I will answer a few questions that might crop up over the course of this website. I have already answered some of these in a post, but I figured it was nice to have them all on the same page.
What are some of your interests?
As you know, I like beauty and fashion. But I also love to read, write, take pictures, cook, and dance. This blog will, hopefully, showcase some of my other interests as well.
What inspired you to create Ms. Midnight Makeup?
I was inspired by Elle Fowler's old blog, as well as Elleandblair.com. I was also inspired by Musings of a Muse and Real Girl's Kitchen. I also have a blog that I share with my sister and, with time, I started to want to do some of my own posts. This blog sort of grew out of that want. I was re inspired to post by Elle's new blog.
Where did the name Ms. Midnight Makeup come from?
Well, first of all, my first few choices were taken. Looking back, I can't remember what they were. I think that the makeup part of the name is obvious, it is somewhat focused on beauty and fashion. However, the midnight part is less obvious. I have insomnia, and so some of my posts are written late at night. Finally, the ms. I believe that Midnight Makeup was taken and I do like the idea of being Ms. Midnight Makeup, plus it sounds nice, so I went with that.
